Violent clashes after Israeli forces stormed two Palestinian camps

Baghdad, Violent clashes broke out on Saturday morning between Palestinian militants and Israeli soldiers in the Jenin and Qalandiya camps, after an Israeli force stormed the camps.

Palestinian sources reported: “The gunmen detonated an explosive device in one of the Israeli army vehicles during its storming of the Jenin camp.”

Pictures showed plumes of smoke rising from the explosion area. Eyewitnesses said that the explosive device was "highly explosive."

Video clips published on social media showed the arrival of large Israeli military reinforcements to the camp.

The Palestinian News Agency "Wafa" reported that large forces from the Israeli army stormed Jenin and its camp, seized buildings and turned them into observation points.

Local sources reported that gunfire targeted Israeli forces during their storming of Qalandiya camp, north of Al-Quds.

16 Palestinians were killed in the West Bank yesterday, Friday, in confrontations with Israeli forces in a number of cities during demonstrations and protests against the war on Gaza.
