Baghdad,Syrian President Bashar al-Assad affirmed, today, Friday, standing with the Palestinian people and their legitimate struggle against the Zionist entity.
The Syrian news agency "SANA" reported that President Bashar al-Assad affirmed, during his meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and his accompanying delegation, standing with the Palestinian people and their legitimate struggle against the Zionist occupation to obtain their rights that have been stolen for more than seven decades, stressing the danger and bloodiness of what the occupation army is doing by bombing civilians in the Gaza Strip and displacing them, and everyone must come together to stop the crimes committed by the “Zionist entity” against the Palestinian people using internationally prohibited weapons.
The Syrian President considered that the crimes and massacres carried out today by the occupying entity against the Palestinians are an attempt by it to pressure the Palestinian people to give up their legitimate rights, stressing that the continued denial of the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state and live in dignity and freedom is the main reason for what the Palestinian territories are witnessing today, and that the region will not witness stability if the Zionist entity and Western countries continue this denial and attempt to obscure that historical and humanitarian truth, and that the Zionist entity must implement international resolutions related to withdrawal from the occupied territories.”
President Al-Assad and Abdullahian discussed developments in the occupied Palestinian territories and the dangerous escalation of the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank, stressing their support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
For his part, the Iranian Foreign Minister stressed the importance of intensifying international efforts to stop the crimes committed by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people.
