The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, arrived in Dhi Qar Governorate this morning.
A statement by the Ministry of Interior stated that "the Supreme Security Committee to secure the Arbaeen visit, headed by the Minister of Interior and with the membership of the Commander of the Ground Forces, the Undersecretary of the National Security Agency, the police and intelligence undersecretaries in the Ministry of Interior, and the Directorate of the Popular Mobilization Operations, arrived in Dhi Qar Governorate."
It added, "The committee's visit comes to see the details of security plans in five provinces, which are Basra, Dhi Qar, Maysan, Muthanna, and Wasit, in the presence of the operations commanders (Basra, Maysan, and Sumer), the police chiefs of the same provinces, and the directors of the security services in them."
