Tripoli, Britain’s ambassador to Libya, “Caroline Hurndall,” confirmed that her country strongly supports the International Criminal Court in the issue of trying “Saif al-Islam Gaddafi,” stressing that Saif al-Islam Gaddafi “must be ready to face the charges against him from before the International Criminal Court.

Hurndall explained in a session to answer questions from followers on the British Embassy’s Facebook page, today, Thursday, that her country does not support any candidate for the Libyan elections scheduled for December 24, nor does it support individuals or political organizations, but rather supports the Libyan people, state institutions and the electoral process itself. , adding, “We do not interfere in choosing who governs Libya, because this is the decision of the Libyans.”

The British ambassador considered that the elections will be a difficult process, but it is a positive move that embodies the people’s desire to express their views.
