On the Inter. Human rights day: GNA Ministry of Justice confirms it’s monitoring human rights violations in Libya.

Tripoli, The Ministry of Justice has confirmed that it was monitoring human rights violations in Libya, calling for all manifestations of discrimination and violence to be rejected.

In a statement issued by the Office of the Secretary for Human Rights, to mark the International Human Rights Day, the Ministry confirmed that it was following up on human rights violations and welcomed cooperation with all local and international authorities and organizations in promoting human rights.

The statement stressed importance of achieving the principle of equality among all Libyans, ensuring freedom of opinion and expression, and rebuilding of confidence in the justice system and the integrity of laws and institutions, and calling on all governmental and non-governmental authorities and bodies to defend human rights.
