Belarusian PM visits NMEC, Giza Pyramid Complex

Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko on Tuesday 30/4/2024 visited the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) in Old Cairo’s Fustat neighborhood, on the margins of his current official visit to Egypt.

Welcoming the premier and his accompanying delegation, Ahmed Ghoneim, the executive chairman of the NMEC’s authority, posted them on the unique site and history of the museum, as well as its cultural role.

Ghoneim presented a souvenir to Golovchenko who voiced his admiration of the museum’s unique site as well as the breathtaking treasures on display, which reflect the greatness of the Egyptian civilization and tell the story of Egypt throughout the ages.

Golovchenko also visited the Giza Pyramid Complex where he was welcomed by Director General of the Pyramids Archaeological Area Ashraf Mohie Eldin who chaperoned him on a tour that included the inside of the Great Pyramid, the panoramic area, and the Sphinx.
