Forum of Arab Cooperation with countries of Central Asia and Azerbaijan condemn Israeli aggression on Syria

Doha, Forum of Arab Cooperation with countries of Central Asia and the Republic of Azerbaijan condemned Israeli aggression on Syria, rejected foreign interference, the illegitimate military presence on Syrian territory, and stressed respect for its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

With participation of a number of Foreign, Economy and Finance Ministers, heads of delegations from Arab countries, and the Secretary-General of Arab League, the forum, held in Doha, condemned the Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip.

The forum stressed that security and stability in the region will not be achieved except by ending the Israeli occupation and implementing the political solution based on international law and relevant UN resolutions.

Syria’s permanent representative to Arab League, Ambassador Hossam El-Din Ala, condemned the ongoing Israeli genocide war on Gaza Strip, which left thousands of martyrs and wounded and hundreds of thousands of displaced people, in addition to the huge destr
uction that affected the whole Strip and other Palestinian cities.

Ambassador Ala warned of the consequences of the Israeli occupation resort to escalate the aggression on Syrian and Lebanese territories and targeting civilians, facilities and diplomatic headquarters.

He also called on the participants to continue working to confront Israeli entity and hold it accountable for its crimes and violations of international law, due to US and Western support.
