Rome -Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure in the Italian Government, Matteo Salvini, confirmed that his country is working in particular to start work on the western part of the road linking the Libyan capital, Tripoli, to the border with Tunisia.
Salvini, said in a radio statement ,published yesterday, that Italy promised many years ago to build the infrastructure, so one of the projects is related the construction of the coastal highway to link eastern and western Libya, whose implementation has been delayed for years, in order to enable Italy to return its leading role in the region.
