His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with the Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), HE Sameer Abdullah Nass, at Gudaibiya Palace.
His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of the private sector, as a part of Team Bahrain, in supporting the Kingdom’s wide-ranging development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Royal Highness noted the importance of deepening the public-private partnership, a core pillar to meet the Kingdom’s sustainable development goals.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the BCCI’s prominent role in representing the Kingdom’s industrial and commercial sectors, and their contributions to meet the private sector’s goals.
His Royal Highness noted the importance of developing plans and strategies to strengthen economic diversification efforts and create quality job opportunities for Bahraini citizens in the Kingdom, in line with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
For his part, the Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, HE Sameer Abdullah Nass, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness and noted HRH’s commitment to supporting the BCCI’s efforts and workstreams.
The Minister of Cabinet Affairs, HE Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, also attended the meeting.
