Dbeibah Approves Job Description Cards for Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Tripoli: The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdulhamid Dbeibah, approved the job descriptions and specifications for positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and for diplomatic missions abroad.

According to Libyan News Agency, this approval is part of a comprehensive project aimed at restructuring and organizing diplomatic work, enhancing the efficiency of institutional performance, and consolidating governance principles while unifying functional references within the Ministry.

The announcement of the approved job descriptions and specifications was made in the presence of Taher Al-Baour, the Acting Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Al-Baour confirmed that the work involved preparing and approving descriptions for various departments, offices, and diplomatic missions to ensure clear definitions of specializations, responsibilities, and career paths.

The approved data includes 266 cards for six political departments, 401 cards for nine technical departments, 205 cards for 14 offices, 43 cards for the Diplomatic Institute, and 39 cards for Libyan embassies abroad. This initiative aims to unify the organizational structure and modernize the diplomatic work system.

This project is overseen by the Administrative Organization and Personnel Department at the Ministry of Civil Service, as part of government efforts to develop public administration and update organizational structures in state institutions, according to the media office.

The Minister of Civil Service stated that the ministry is working to implement the government's vision of reforming the civil service system, modernizing administrative structures, and improving performance efficiency within state institutions to ensure job fairness and transparency, as well as enhance the quality of public services.
