German Ambassador and Libyan Deputy Prime Minister Discuss Unity and Decentralization in Fezzan

Tripoli: The German Ambassador to Libya, Arvid Enders, has revealed discussions held with Salem al-Zadma, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, focusing on achieving consensus on unity and decentralization in the Fezzan region. The meeting, which took place on Monday, aimed to tackle the challenges faced by communities in this southern part of Libya.

According to Libyan News Agency, Ambassador Enders shared in a tweet on Tuesday that the discussions were centered on strengthening decentralization. This approach is seen as a means to enhance living conditions and increase opportunities for residents in Fezzan. The dialogue also involved exchanging views on how best to address the challenges faced by communities in this region, with a goal of fostering stability and development.
