House Speaker Nabih Berri held talks with Canada’s Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly, who visited him at his Ain-el-Tineh residence on Tuesday, accompanied by a delegation and the Canadian Ambassador to Lebanon Stefanie McCollum.
The meeting touched on the current situation in Lebanon and the broader region in light of Israel’s continuous aggressions against Lebanon and Gaza. Discussions also touched on the Lebanese-Canadian bilateral relations.
Berri met separately with Iran’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani.
