Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani affirmed Iraq's aspiration to establish the best relations with its Arab brothers, constructive cooperation in various fields, and joint work towards serving issues, the progress of Arab countries, and the prosperity of their people.
During his meeting with the heads of delegations participating in the meeting of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice held in the capital, Al-Sudani renewed Iraq’s firm and principled position on the Palestinian issue, stressing that the continued systematic violations of the Zionist occupation in the occupied Palestinian territories call for more joint Arab action to stop the brutal aggression that has gone deeper into targeting Palestinian civilians, and infrastructure in the Gaza Strip.
A statement by the Prime Minister's Information Office stated, "Al- Sudani held a luncheon in honor of the participating delegations, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit."
The statement added, "Al-Sudani welcomed the guests of Iraq, and praised their efforts in holding the meeting of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice in Baghdad, and its outcomes that contribute to strengthening Arab cooperation in the field of exchanging legal and judicial expertis.
