Tripoli: The Minister of Local Government in the Government of National Unity, Abdul-Shafi Al-Juwaifi, held a meeting with the Mayor of Sinawen, Rabie Qunaidi, at the Ministry headquarters in Tripoli. The discussion centered around several critical issues pertaining to administrative and service operations in the municipality. A key focus of the meeting was the evaluation of targeted development and service projects within Sinawen.
According to Libyan News Agency, the attendees reviewed the implementation status of various ongoing projects in the municipality. The discussions aimed at identifying and overcoming administrative and technical obstacles that have been hindering progress. The goal is to expedite the completion of these projects and enhance the quality of basic services available to citizens.
During the meeting, Mayor Qunaidi highlighted the necessity of supporting the Sinawen branch of the Municipal Guard. He emphasized the importance of equipping it with essential resources, vehicles, and equipment to enable it to effectively fulfill its supervisory and regulatory roles.
Qunaidi expressed appreciation for Minister Al-Juwaifi's efforts and his ongoing support for municipalities. He stressed the urgent need for additional support for Sinawen Municipality, particularly in executing several central development projects. These projects are aimed at improving infrastructure, boosting administrative efficiency, and bringing essential services closer to the citizens.
Minister Al-Juwaifi reiterated the Ministry's commitment to supporting the Sinawen Municipal Council. He assured that the Ministry would work in coordination with executive bodies and relevant authorities to address the municipality's pressing needs and demands, thereby facilitating accelerated development and enhancing stability in the region.
