Tripoli: The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Al-Baour, convened with ministry officials to review the past year’s administrative and diplomatic performance and to outline improvement plans for the upcoming year. The discussions, which took place on Wednesday, aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Ministry’s operations.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting brought together directors from the political and technical departments, along with office heads, to identify and address existing bottlenecks in internal processes. The primary focus was on refining internal mechanisms to improve service delivery and efficiency within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Ministry highlighted several key areas of discussion, emphasizing the need to improve services for citizens living abroad. This includes simplifying consular procedures for Libyan communities and enhancing communication channels with embassies and consulates to ensure the provision of more effective services. The discussions also revolved around setting work priorities for the current year to meet the Libyan state’s political and economic goals.
