Tripoli: The Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, Abdullah Qaderbouh, submitted the Authority’s fifty-third annual report for 2023 to the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Naji Mohammed Issa, on Monday. This event took place during an official meeting at the bank’s headquarters and was attended by several department and office directors from both sides.
According to Libyan News Agency, the report contained essential financial and administrative statistics and data, along with oversight observations on state institutions’ performance. It also included an assessment of the general economic situation and a review of macroeconomic indicators. The meeting also served as a platform for exchanging views on the bank’s vision for resolving the economic crisis, discussing the proposed economic reform package, and exploring ways of institutional coordination between the two sides.
The Governor highlighted the significance of the Administrative Control Authority’s role in monitoring public policy implementation and praised its cooperation in supporting the bank’s efforts to enhance monetary and financial stability. Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Authority expressed the institution’s willingness to fully support the bank in executing its reform vision to improve the quality of basic services for citizens.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to establish a joint working group to implement the recommendations and outcomes, reaffirming the commitment of both institutions to effective cooperation in achieving national economic goals.
