Vatel achieve first place in France for two consecutive years

Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, General Director of Vatel Hotel & Tourism Business School in Bahrain, said that the French Vatel College, for the second year in a row, ranked eleventh in the QS World University Rankings in Hospitality and Leisure Management for the year 2023.

Among the 160 universities in the world, he affirmed that the college’s international reputation through theoretical and practical scientific and academic programs at the highest level, indicating that the new categorization of the college reflects positively on Vatel Bahrain.

The General Director said that the achievement confirms the college’s graduates’ competence and quality of the College’s graduates, whose number exceeds 42,000 globally, especially since most of its graduates have become international cadres in tourism, hospitality and hotel, especially with the global expansion that the College is witnessing through 55 branches in 33 countries. And its keenness to ensure that the academic materials are in accordance with international standards and in line with the requirements of the global labor market.

Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa pointed out that the new ranking of the French Vatel College contributes to motivating and developing student competencies in the college at the highest levels of study at the hands of experts, in addition to receiving practical training at the hands of professionals from distinguished hotels in Bahrain, France and around the globe since the university program is divided between 50% for theoretical study and 50% for practical training.

International Network Director of Vatel group, Paul d’Azémar expressed pride in this achievement stressing that the university pays great attention to the hospitality, tourism and hotel industry which reflected on qualifications of students, cadres and competencies of the college’s employees receiving global recognition.

Vatel could advance 8 places, to maintain this achievement in 2023 as well, after it ranked 19th in the year before last 2021, and thus the college has achieved first place in France, for two consecutive years.
