Tripoli: The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) announced that the Economic Track of the Structured Dialogue resumed its meetings yesterday in Tripoli. These meetings aim to refine recommendations addressing Libya's economic challenges and to advance the economic stability and reforms necessary for credible elections and long-term stability.
According to Libyan News Agency, over the next four days, participants will work on finalizing recommendations on several critical areas. These include financial governance and public financial management, the management of oil revenues and sovereign resources, economic restructuring and diversification, balanced development and economic justice across Libya, macroeconomic stability and economic policy, as well as economic transparency and accountability.
UNSMIL noted that discussions will also concentrate on practical mechanisms to facilitate the implementation of the track's recommendations. This initiative is part of broader efforts to ensure economic sustainability and to foster an environment conducive to Libya's future development.
