Tripoli: Belgassem Haftar, the Director-General of the Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund, met with Jeremy Berndt, the Senior Policy Advisor for Libyan Political Affairs at the U.S. Embassy, in Benghazi.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting focused on the work of the Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund and explored ways to enhance U.S.-Libyan economic cooperation. Jeremy Berndt, in a tweet, highlighted the discussions on the importance of a unified budget agreement and the implementation of additional reforms. These measures aim to safeguard Libya's financial stability and support its technocratic institutions.
