Tripoli: U.S. Senior Advisor for Arab and African Affairs Massad Boulos expressed his country's strong support for the unified budget agreement as a means of strengthening the Central Bank of Libya's ability to safeguard Libya's financial stability and protect the purchasing power of the Libyan people.

According to Libyan News Agency, Boulos emphasized that Libya's Central Bank, as a critical technocratic institution, plays a vital role in maintaining the country's economic stability. His statements were made public through a tweet where he reiterated the importance of the Central Bank in ensuring financial equilibrium in Libya.

Boulos further stated that the United States remains committed to supporting Libyan efforts to unify economic, military, and political institutions. The overarching aim is to create the conditions necessary for lasting stability, prosperity, and peace in Libya, highlighting the broader context of U.S. involvement in the region's development.
