The Governor of Kursk Province, Roman Starovoit, announced that Russian electronic warfare systems detected and shot down two Ukrainian drones in the Rylsky and Sudzhansky districts of the province.

Starovoit wrote on his channel in "Telegram": "Two drones were detected and neutralized in the border areas of the district: near the town of Kozino in the Rylsky district, and not far from the village of Gornal in Sudzhansky."

He added, "The two Ukrainian drones were discovered using electronic warfare systems and were shot down by anti-drone weapons, and there were no casualties or damage."

He said that the Ukrainian forces also fired at the town of Titkino in the Glushkovsky district three times, and no injuries or damage were recorded.

The Ukrainian forces have recently intensified their attacks using drones, in an attempt to target Russian vital installations and civilian areas and pose a threat to the Russian home front.
