Istanbul - Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan warned of the crisis in the Gaza Strip turning into a large-scale war.
Fidan said in a televised interview: The current crisis in the Gaza Strip may lead to a larger war in the region if it is not settled.
He added: “We have two options: either the crisis will be resolved and lead to long-term peace, or a terrible alternative awaits us: a long and large-scale war in the region and instability.”
The Turkish Foreign Minister stressed that no one wants to see a catastrophic scenario with a large-scale regional conflict.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan described the situation in the Middle East as madness encouraged by the West and legitimized by its media./End
