The Strategic Policies Committee of the Union of Arab Journalists stressed the need to adopt training plans, launch programs to support journalists in various Arab countries, organize conferences and carry out serious studies to explore the future.
The Committee discussed, in a meeting held in the presence of Moayad Al-Lami, Head of the Union of Arab Journalists, Khaled Miri, Secretary General of the Union, and Mohamed Al-Hammadi, the committee’s rapporteur and Head of the Emirates Journalists Association, matters related to organizational aspects within the federation, to ensure the existence of a strong federation with a forward-looking vision, capable of achieving its goals and its programs are in tune with the changes that occur every day.
During the meeting, the Committee also laid down the main plans and programs aimed at serving journalists in all Arab countries, and reviewed the issue of providing the necessary funds to ensure the implementation of the Union's tasks permanently, without any obstacles.
