The Israeli army Spokesman announced today, Thursday, that 3 Israeli soldiers were injured in the explosion of a booby-trapped tunnel east of Rafah.

The Israeli army explained that the three soldiers’ injuries were “moderate.”

The Israeli army’s announcement comes hours after Al-Qassam Brigades issued a statement in which it confirmed that ‘its fighters were able to detonate a booby-trapped tunnel eye in a Zionist engineering force consisting of 3 vehicles, an excavator, and a number of soldiers, leaving them dead and wounded east of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.’
