President El-Sisi Meets Kenya’s Minister of Defense

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received on Wednesday 6/3/2024 Minister of Defense of Kenya, Aden Duale. The meeting was also attended by Minister of Defense and Military Production, General Mohamed Zaki.

Spokesman for the Presidency, Counselor Dr. Ahmed Fahmy, said the Kenyan Defense Minister conveyed President William Ruto’s greetings to President El-Sisi, emphasizing Kenya’s commitment to further strengthening the outstanding relations between the two countries in all fields.

This was appreciated by President El-Sisi, who expressed Egypt’s pride in its historical relations with Kenya, as a model of cooperation between brothers on the Continent.

The meeting tackled issues of joint cooperation, in light of the two countries’ keenness on bolstering the partnership and cooperation in military and security areas.

The discussions also touched on regional and international developments, notably the situations in the Gaza Strip, the Red Sea, and the Horn of Africa, as well as their implications for peace and se
curity in the African Continent.

The Kenyan Defense Minister commended Egypt’s wise role in consolidating security and stability in the continent, affirming his country’s commitment to coordinating and cooperating with Egypt for their common benefit and to promote joint African action across the Continent.
