Abdul-sadiq: In a bid to bolster investments in Libya’s oil sector, the Minister of Oil and Gas in the Government of National Unity, Khalifa Abdul-Sadig, engaged in discussions with a high-level delegation from the British company BP. This meeting took place during his participation in the Gas Tech 2025 conference held in Milan, Italy.
According to Libyan News Agency, the discussions focused on enhancing joint cooperation between Libya and BP, with an aim to expand BP’s investments in the country. Future bidding rounds in the oil and gas sectors, which the ministry plans to launch, were a key topic of conversation. Minister Abdul-Sadiq emphasized Libya’s commitment to providing a stable and secure investment environment, which is essential for establishing long-term strategic partnerships with major international companies. He underscored BP’s potential role in supporting the sustainable development of Libya’s energy sector.
