Tripoli: The Minister of Tourism in the Government of National Unity, Nasreddine Milad Al-Fazzani, recently convened a meeting with the Charg© d’Affaires of the Indian Embassy in Libya, Mohammed Alim. The meeting, which included several Indian businessmen, focused on exploring opportunities for bilateral cooperation in the tourism sector.
According to Libyan News Agency, discussions centered on establishing investment partnerships between the Libyan and Indian private sectors. The meeting also addressed ways to facilitate procedures that support tourism and sought to eliminate obstacles impeding the movement of investors, business owners, and travelers between the two countries.
Minister Al-Fazzani underscored the Ministry of Tourism’s commitment to easing procedures and removing barriers for investors. He highlighted the importance of international cooperation in developing Libya’s tourism sector in line with global standards.
The Indian delegation expressed keen interest in enhancing economic cooperation with Libya, particularly in the tourism industry, and commended the investment opportunities available in the country.
The Ministry of Tourism shared on its official page that this meeting is part of its broader efforts to activate international partnerships and attract investments that will bolster the national economy and improve the tourism sector’s infrastructure.
