Tripoli: Iraq has proudly announced the export of its first shipment of cancer-treatment medications to Libya. This marks a significant step in the country’s pharmaceutical industry, as revealed by Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, the Charg© d’Affaires of the Iraqi Embassy in Tripoli.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Iraqi Embassy in Tripoli shared on its Facebook page that these medications are produced domestically, adhering to the latest international standards. This initiative is seen as part of the ongoing efforts to enhance cooperation between Iraq and Libya, under the guidance of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani and the oversight of Health Minister Dr. Saleh Al-Hasnawi.
Al-Sahhaf emphasized that the embassy in Tripoli is closely monitoring these developments to foster stronger ties between Baghdad and Tripoli. He hailed this export as a national achievement, highlighting the success of Iraq’s plans to localize its pharmaceutical industry and provide support to Libya.
