Libyan Government Invites Doctors to Compete for Prestigious Arab Physician Award

Tripoli: The Ministry of Health of the Government of National Unity has issued a call for Libyan doctors to apply for the Arab Physician Award. The nominations for the 2027 edition of this prestigious award, under the auspices of the League of Arab States, are now open. The award seeks to honor physicians for their dedication and excellence in medical practice, scientific research, and contributions to healthcare systems.

According to Libyan News Agency, the award recognizes achievements across several fields, including excellence in scientific research and innovation, leadership, professional impact, good governance in healthcare management, and resilient medicine. This initiative acknowledges the humanitarian role of physicians in addressing crises, emergencies, and disasters.

The Ministry urged Libyan physicians with notable scientific, professional, and humanitarian contributions to take advantage of this opportunity.
