Tripoli, 17 November, 2022 (LANA) – Head of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid al-Dabiba, participated in the celebration held by the Algerian embassy in Tripoli, on the 68th anniversary of the outbreak of the Algerian liberation revolution.

In a speech delivered on the occasion, al-Dabiba congratulated the Algerian government and people on the occasion of the celebration of the 68th anniversary of the outbreak of the Algerian liberation revolution, which came after a struggle that exceeded 100 years and culminated in the liberation of Algeria from colonialism.

al-Dabiba said, “Our people were inspired by the heroism of the Algerians and resisted fascist colonialism. The Libyan resistance leaders did not stop supporting their brothers in Algeria.

He added, “The blood of the brave men of the two countries mixed in a historical epic in the Battle of Essin, southwest of Ghat, which took place on the third and fourth of October 1957, which embodied the epics of heroism between the two peoples.”

Al-Dabaiba stressed that Algeria has not ceased, on every occasion, to affirm the justice of the Libyans in achieving a future that is not disturbed by wars or divisions, and supports the elections option.
