Egyptian Minister of Transport, Lieutenant General Engineer Kamel Al-Wazir, confirmed that Al-Jalala Marina does not need to raise its efficiency because it is a new city that was built on the most modern system in the world in terms of depth, areas, and services, and it only needs maintenance, and it is the best marina in the Red Sea.

The minister added during his speech at the Ministry of Transport conference, which is currently being held to discuss maximizing yacht tourism in Egypt and ways to support the establishment of local and international marinas in Egypt, that if the operator needs to add some services or buildings, there is no objection to that, as the marina has two hotels, a theme park, and a group of shops, restaurants, banks and a tourist product.

The minister invited all investors interested in yacht tourism to participate and work in Galala Marina.

The conference comes within the framework of implementing the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to ma
ximize yacht tourism in Egypt, and in light of the measures implemented by the Ministry of Transport to simplify and accelerate its procedures upon the arrival and departure of foreign yachts from the tourist ports and marinas located on the coasts of the Arab Republic of Egypt, as well as creating a single digital window for foreign yachts to simplify these procedures and issue a single approval for the tourist yacht visit program through that digital window in just 30 minutes instead of taking 15-30 days previously.

In addition to setting a unified tariff for the trawler fees on all docks, passenger stations, and tourist ports affiliated with the Ministry of Transport, in one currency, to avoid the problem of conflicting trawler fees for foreign yachts in Egyptian ports.
