The Committee for Inventorying and Evaluating Damage of Cultural Infrastructure, Monuments, and Heritage, and Historical Sites that were damaged by torrents and floods held a meeting headed by the Minister of Culture and Cognitive Development, Mabrouka Toghi.
According to the Ministry of Culture, the committee will prepare a report on this matter, most notably the monuments and heritage sites nominated for inclusion on the Islamic Heritage List, the House of Culture in Derna, which was completely destroyed, the Companions Library in Derna, the National Center for Translation, and the Al-Qaib Public Library.
