Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army meets with a number of members of the National Assembly in the Western Region.

Tripoli: Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, ‘Mohamed Al-Haddad,’ met with a number of members of the National Assembly, including ‘municipal mayors, councils of elders and notables, social councils, civil society institutions, and tribal sheikhs in the western region.’

The media office of the Chief of Staff stated that the meeting was held yesterday, Monday, and came for discussions between the military institution and the social components, and to support the unification of ranks, heal the rift between the people of one nation, and save the country.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Salah al-Din al-Namroush, the Secretary-General of the General Staff, and the Chief of Staff of the Naval Forces.
