Manama, Capital Governor, Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, took part in a celebration to mark the White Cane Safety Day by the Friendship Society for the Blind at the Water Garden in Seef district.
Citizens, residents and NGOs took part in the Walking with the Blind event.
He asserted the dedication of the Capital Governorate to supporting humanitarian initiatives for all segments of society, especially those with special needs.
