Tripoli, President of Presidency Council Mohamed Al Mnefi discussed with Minister of Economy and Trade Mohamed Al Hweij economic prospects of and ways of spurring economic growth with strategic feasible plans.
The two sides discussed income diversification and investment in various economic areas, to rid the country of dependency on oil and gas.
They also discussed investment portfolios, their economic viability, and introducing new investment projects in accordance with sound feasibility studies, to spur the economy and encourage investors from the private sector and from abroad.
The meeting also focused on the need for conducting on site visits by the Ministry of Economy, to monitor the market, the flow of goods, the prices and quality of services.
