Baghdad, Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, stressed the important role of religious symbols in peaceful coexistence and urged the rejection of extremism.

The media office of the Acting Speaker of Parliament stated: ‘Today, Al-Mandalawi met in his office, the head of the High Qadiriyya Al-Kisanzaniya approach in the world, Sheikh Nehru Sheikh Muhammad Al-Kisanzani, and his accompanying delegation, and discussed with him local public affairs, the impact of security stability on society, the advancement of infrastructure, and the necessity of concerted efforts with the aim of spreading the spirit of peaceful coexistence among all components, consolidating this experience, and working with the constitution that guaranteed freedom of belief and religion and acceptance of others as one of the most important features of Iraqi society throughout history.
