Baghdad, The Head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Head of the Arab Journalists Union, Moayad Al-Lami, thanked the fellow journalists who supported him and the Syndicate, stressing that his goal is to raise the status of Iraqi journalists in local and foreign forums.

Al-Lami said in a tweet on the X website: Some dear colleagues from the journalistic family wrote many articles of support and praise for us, and praised our efforts and work for journalists, and the achievements and accomplishments the Union has achieved for them and for Iraq, and what the Union has achieved at the local and foreign levels, and raising the status of the Iraqi journalist in all forums locally and abroad. I say I thank them from my heart and I invite them to leave that, because we are working silently for them, and there is a lot coming to them, with God’s help, because what we have given we see as little.

He added: As for those who target me, including the losers, the colorful people, the forgers, the thieves, and those who
made a living by financing those who killed Iraqis, I say to my beloved journalists, who are in the thousands, leave them, for the judiciary is responsible for them and their forged documents. Be patient. The coming days will reveal them. The journalistic family is innocent of those who count on the fingers of one hand. Thank you to those who stood with his Syndicate. We will not forget your positions.
