Al-Dabaiba requests balances of accounts of Libyan embassies

Tripoli, The Head of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba, asked Minister of Finance to provide him with data on the balances of the accounts of Libyan embassies and diplomatic missions abroad, no later than March 12.

In a letter addressed to the minister, Al-Dabiba referred to the meeting he held with Minister of Finance, in the presence of the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, on the first of March, during which the file of the balances of embassies and diplomatic missions was discussed.

According to the book, the prime minister requested that financial controllers in embassies and diplomatic missions be assigned this task, provided that the balance values are analyzed and data updated according to the approved sections of the budget.

Al-Dabaiba called on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to issue instructions so that the financial controllers can perform their assigned duties, provided that administrative measures are taken against the financial controllers who violate this according to the procedures followed in this regard.
