Administrative Control Authority and Russian Ambassador Discuss Anti-Corruption Collaboration

Tripoli: The Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, Abdullah Qaderbouh, held a meeting with the Russian Ambassador to Libya, Haydar Aganin, at the Authority’s headquarters in Tripoli. The discussion focused on strategies to strengthen cooperation in the areas of oversight and anti-corruption.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting highlighted prospects for collaboration in transparency, administrative reform, and the exchange of international expertise. The discussions also included support for qualification and training programs and the use of modern technologies to develop e-governance systems in coordination with Russian oversight bodies.

Qaderbouh reaffirmed the Authority’s dedication to forming strategic partnerships with international entities to bolster its institutional capabilities and improve performance in line with national legislation. He stressed the Authority’s commitment to fulfilling its responsibilities despite challenges and external pressures.

The Russian Ambassador conveyed his nation’s interest in partnering with the Authority to support institutional stability. He acknowledged the Authority’s efforts in combating corruption and safeguarding Libya’s investment environment.

Both parties emphasized the need for ongoing technical coordination and the development of institutional communication channels to serve mutual interests and foster stability and development.

This meeting is part of the Commission’s broader strategy to engage internationally and tackle the challenges Libya faces, particularly in combating corruption and building trust among citizens and international partners.
