Benghazi: President of the Presidential Council Mohamed Al-Menfi affirmed that the most challenging responsibility following the reconstruction of educational institutions is to build a modern and genuine education system that creates a university environment conducive to creativity and ensures students' intellectual freedom and access to comprehensive scientific research aligned with the needs of the labor market and production.
According to Libyan News Agency, this statement was made in a post on Al-Menfi's official account yesterday, where he expressed his thanks to Engineer Belgassem Haftar, both personally and officially, for inviting him to attend the opening ceremony of Qar Younis University in Benghazi after its renovation and refurbishment.
Al-Menfi mentioned that a prior engagement prevented him from attending the ceremony, but he showed appreciation for the Fund's efforts in reconstructing and renovating the university buildings. He also expressed confidence in the Fund and the Libyan government's ability to undertake the responsibility of advancing the educational process.
He emphasized the significance of providing students with intellectual freedom and access to scientific research that is integrated with the labor market and production needs. This approach is intended to foster a modern educational environment that encourages creativity.
