Tripoli-The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Al Dabaiba, followed up with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najla Al-Mangoush on departure of Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias of Tripoli Airport after arrival on Thursday.

The Foreign Minister explained that what the Greek Minister did was an un-diplomatic measure namely by refusing to disembark for unknown and rejected reasons.

Al-Mangoush stressed the government’s refusal to deal with any country that does not respect Libya’s sovereignty and prestige.

Al-Mangoush said that the Libyan Ambassador to Greece was recalled for consultations, and the Greek charge d’affaires in Libya was summoned to the Foreign Ministry to clarify the background of the event.

During the meeting, Al Dabaiba stressed that mutual respect is the basis of diplomatic relations with the State of Greece, adding that he will not allow such actions towards the State of Libya and its sovereignty.
