Hundreds of residents of Maysan governorate organized a protest after Friday prayers in the center of the city of Amarah, to denounce the incident of burning a copy of the Holy Quran in Sweden.
The protesters called on the government to take firm measures to respond to these repeated violations against the monotheistic religions.
