Dozens of the people of the city of Hilla demonstrated today, Tuesday, from Al-Thawra Bridge in the center of Hilla, towards the governorate building, to condemn the burning of the Noble Qur’an and to demand that those who burned it be handed over to the Iraqi judiciary.
NINA correspondent said, "The demonstrators also demanded the severing of diplomatic relations with Sweden and an official apology to all Muslims for this act, which touches the core of Islamic beliefs."
