The security forces in Maysan arrested 7 people accused of various crimes and seized unlicensed weapons and equipment in the Al-Majjar Al-Kabir and Qalat Saleh districts in the south of the governorate.
The Maysan Operations Command said in a statement, a copy of which was received by the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): “A force from the Second Regiment, 97th Infantry Brigade affiliated with the Maysan Operations Command, in partnership with a force from the National Security Service, was able to arrest the accused, whose crimes varied between terrorism, threats, premeditated murder, and in his possession unlicensed weapons, and various weapons and equipment, noting that the accused and the seized items have been handed over to the competent authorities.”
