Zawiya: The Western Region Experts Foundation for Stability and Development organized an extensive dialogue session at the Professional Development Center in Zawiya. The session focused on the reality of Libyan national security and the challenges it faces in light of the current security, political, and social conditions in the country. According to Libyan News Agency, the session was moderated by Major General (Retired) Dr. Bashir Rajab Al-Dhafdaf, a strategic expert in military and security affairs. He presented an analytical overview of the most prominent internal and external challenges, highlighting their direct impact on the stability of the state and its institutions. Major General Al-Dhafdaf emphasized the necessity of adopting a scientific methodology and comprehensive institutional planning to address these challenges. A number of experts and specialists in the fields of security, politics, economics, and development participated in the session. They enriched the discussion with contributions tha t emphasized the importance of activating the role of national institutions, strengthening partnerships with official bodies, and developing practical visions and proposals that contribute to supporting stability and achieving sustainable development. At the conclusion of the session, the Western Region Experts Foundation affirmed its commitment to continuing to organize such dialogue events, believing that consolidating national security forms the solid foundation for building a stable state, and that responsible and professional dialogue is an effective tool for addressing current challenges.
