New york: The United States representative to the Security Council emphasized the importance of channeling Libyan oil exports exclusively through the National Oil Corporation. She highlighted the necessity to tackle oil smuggling in all its forms and emphasized the preservation of oil revenues as a priority.
According to Libyan News Agency, in her speech at the UN Security Council session on Libya, the US representative urged the main Libyan parties to put in more effort to unify institutions and maintain the independence of the judiciary. She also encouraged Libyan citizens to actively engage in the roadmap designed by the UN envoy.
The US representative also praised Libya for hosting the Flintlock military exercises, describing it as a historic milestone for the nation. The exercises showcased Libya's joint military forces and involved participation from numerous countries, reflecting Libya's commitment and the robustness of its military unity.
