UNSMIL: Bathily holds a live digital dialogue with Libyans on human rights in Libya

Tripoli 6 December 2022 (Lana) the United Nation Support Mission in Libya, “UNSMIL”, announced yesterday that Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Libya and Head of the UNSMIL, Abdoulaye Bathily, will hold a live digital dialogue on 8 Dec with Libyan people from across the country on the challenges facing Human Rights in Libya.

The Mission said on its SMS page that this dialogue comes on the occasion of the International Human Rights Day on 10 Dec, with a desire to listen to their opinions and ideas about improving the human rights situation in Libya.

The UNSMIL called on Libyans to be on the scheduled date next Thursday, to participate in this dialogue, which the mission had previously mentioned on November 27.

The mission highlighted that the link will become live just before the time, requiring to follow the social media accounts and the official page of the mission to register and participate in the dialogue.
