Tripoli: The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) expressed strong condemnation over the ‘repeated incidents’ that took place on Monday morning at a service center operated by one of its agencies in Tripoli.
According to Libyan News Agency, UNSMIL released a statement on Tuesday indicating that the relevant authorities have initiated measures to address these incidents. An investigation has been launched to understand the circumstances, focusing on the aggressive behavior towards staff and individuals seeking humanitarian aid at the center. The mission emphasized the importance of implementing all necessary precautions to prevent such incidents from happening again.
