Tripoli: The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) has initiated a digital campaign called 'Youth Voices for Libya's Future.' This campaign invites young Libyans nationwide to submit original digital artwork that reflects their visions, aspirations, and their role in building a better future, in celebration of International Youth Day 2026. According to Libyan News Agency, the campaign targets talented young Libyan men and women specializing in design and digital creativity. It aims to highlight their ideas and innovations while enhancing their participation in matters affecting their future and the future of Libya. UNSMIL has emphasized that the campaign will focus on three main themes: youth and climate action; youth, education, skills, and livelihoods; and youth and health. These themes underscore the crucial role young people play in addressing challenges and contributing to sustainable development. In a post on its official page, UNSMIL announced that the deadline for submissions is August 9, 2026. The mission urged interested participants to review the campaign details and application process on the dedicated website. The initiative is part of a broader framework to support youth voices, encouraging them to express their ideas through creative digital media and highlighting their role as key partners in shaping Libya's future.
