Tripoli: The U.S. Embassy in Libya has expressed its approval of the National Oil Corporation's (NOC) recent developments involving major American oil companies. In a recent tweet, the embassy underscored the significance of the NOC's announcement about expanding the Waha Consortium partnership with ConocoPhillips, highlighting it as a key example of the growing collaboration between the United States and Libya. According to Libyan News Agency, the embassy also welcomed the signing of a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the NOC and Chevron. This agreement is set to facilitate Chevron's re-entry into Libya, marking an important milestone in the energy sector for the country.
